Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR involves recalling a traumatic or stressful memory while simultaneously engaging in activation of the prefrontal cortex of the brain, usually through a working memory task such as eye movements or hand taps. This activation is believed to help the brain process and desensitize the memory, reducing its emotional impact and incorporating new information into the experience to make sense of it.
EMDR therapy is highly flexible and can be used to address trauma, specific fears and phobias, performance enhancement as well as target other desired changes.
EMDR is structured and time-limited to help you get back to living your best life.

Cognitive Processing Therapy
Cognitive processing therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is based on the cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) framework, which emphasizes the role of thoughts and beliefs in shaping emotions and behaviors.
CPT involves a structured, time-limited series of sessions (typically 12-16) during which the patient and therapist work together to identify unhelpful beliefs and thoughts and process traumatic events, developing a new, more balanced and realistic perspective of traumatic events.
Clinical Hypnosis
Clinical hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that utilizes an altered state of consciousness, known as a trance, to promote positive changes in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You are ALWAYS IN CONTROL during a clinical hypnosis experience.
Clinical hypnosis is used to address a wide range of psychological and physical issues, including:
Reducing anxiety and stress
Improving pain management
Enhancing coping mechanisms
Changing habits and behaviors
Increasing self-awareness and insight
Comprehensive Psychological Assessment and Diagnosis
One of the most important things about obtaining a comprehensive psychological assessment is to complete the process with a psychological services provider who is appropriately trained and credentialed to provide such services.
Licensed psychologists receive specialized training in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological assessment data. They are able to provide a diagnosis and guide treatment planning and intervention strategies.
Wellspace providers are trained in the provision of adult comprehensive psychological assessment and are able to offer diagnostic clarity for challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities (LD), and cognitive impairment.
